Tasks

· Involvement of girls in engineering and pedagogical education through trainings

· Development of curricula on VR and implementation of VR and VR will plunge into the educational process at the Mechanics and Mathematics, Geology, Biology and Medicine faculties.

· 3D rendering / visualization of buildings and objects using the BLENDER program

· Planning and developing training sessions for engineering students, EXTEND Center management tools, executing of all events.

· Developing training programs for engineering teachers, curriculum development and innovation; active learning strategies; coaching for teachers

· Conducting the “Assessment” course for the bachelors, masters and PhD students.

· Conduct joint activities with the EXTEND Centre at NMSTU in Russian Federation (see activities NMSTU EXTEND Center).

· Cooperation with the private sector and the industry

· development of advanced training programs for the specified online courses, as well as the involvement of scientific and pedagogical workers of TNU and other interested parties in advanced training programs, professional retraining;

· development of cooperation with domestic and foreign educational institutions and scientific organizations within the framework of academic mobility programs for teachers and students;

· organization and holding of conferences, meetings, symposiums, seminars, master classes, schools and other scientific and educational events;

· development and application of innovative pedagogical approaches in the development of psychological and pedagogical, foreign language and information and communication competencies of university graduates;

· Improving the process of developing the skills and experience in the field of pedagogical innovations among students and young scientists of TNU based on the best European experience.

State

The strategic goal of the EXTEND-Center is to improve the quality of training of specialists in the field of engineering education through the development of psychological, pedagogical, foreign language professional and ICT competencies.
