Scientific Workshop “Excellence in Engineering Education through e-Learning and ICT Tools (EXTEND)”, co-located with eLSE Conference (2019, 2020, 2021), Bucharest, Romania

The scientific workshop on “Excellence in Engineering Education through e-Learning and ICT Tools (EXTEND)” took place on April in 2019 (face-to-face), in April 2020 (online) and in May 2021 (online) within the framework of The International Scientific Conference on "eLearning and software for education" (eLSE), Bucharest, Romania.

The chairs of the workshop were Maria-Iuliana Dascalu and Elisabeth Lazarou, members of EXTEND project team from University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest, Romania, https://www.elseconference.eu/.

During each year, members of EXTEND project (e.g. Karlis Valtins (RTU), Iuliia Savinova (NMSTU), Natalia Zerkina (NMSTU), Daler Sharifi (TNU), Maria Dascalu (UPB), Elisabeth Lazarou (UPB), Doina Simion (UPB), Tania-Mihaela Brezeanu (UPB), Tatiana Salimova (MRSU), Elena Soldatova (MRSU), Elena Smirnova (BMSTU) ) presented their innovative research related to engineering education from Russia, Tajikistan, Romania and Latvia. Also, other researchers outside the EXTEND project had the opportunity to present their work and exchange best practices related to engineering education. The review of the presented papers was also assured by EXTEND members. All papers published in the conference proceedings can be viewed on the EXTEND profile in Research Gate.
